Visit to Building Bridges Charity

Popped down to offices of the Building Bridges Pendle Charity in Nelson for a chat about how we could work together.

The charity contacted us shortly after we published our story of the Pendle Festival of Culture event that held in Nelson town centre back in June 2019.  They liked how our photo’s captured the spirit of the event and requested permission to use them for their marketing and publicity.  So, we gave them access to our material.

We were back in Nelson on Remembrance Sunday to cover the remembrance proceedings. It turns out that Building Bridges Pendle were involved in the co-ordination of the interfaith remembrance service and two or three of their staff spotted me taking pictures.  We exchanged details on the day and they got in touch a few days later.

So, I met up with Katie Nolan at their offices in Nelson. This is Katie (left) with another volunteer at the Pendle Festival of Culture.
