Eadie’s Kitchen: Celebrating their 1st year anniversary on the Colne High Street

Today we wish Eadie’s Kitchen in Colne a happy birthday! They have now been trading on the high street for a year and are going from strength to strength.

Say hello to some of the team …

Eadie’s Kitchen is host to a number of regular community events – for instance The Natter Shack Scheme, Colne Book Club and some meetings for Colne BID.

The Natter Shack at Eadie’s Kitchen
They host The Natter Shack every Thursday from 10-11am and this event is very popular! It’s always very well attended!

(Folk paying attention to the photo’s may spot that Kathryn Lamport – the new lay pastor of St. John’s Methodist Church – also attends this event and she is keen to get the Church more involved in the community.  Accordingly, Fri 7th Feb saw the launch of a Natter Shack Scheme event at St. John’s Methodist Church (Fridays’ 10-11am).

Colne Book Club at Eadie’s Kitchen
The Colne Book Club is held at Eadie’s Kitchen on the third Thursday of each month from 6.30pm. The Colne Book Club was launched in October 2019 and has been steadily growing in popularity month on month.

Colne BID at Eadie’s
They are also host to various drop-in workshops for the Colne BID initiative.  In fact, Lisa Durkin (Colne BID Manager) was there today 2pm-3pm answering questions from local businesses.  Lisa & Joanne (from Swankies Upholstery And Soft Furnishers) chatted so much today that we couldn’t get a word in edge-ways! 😉

(Many thanks to Sara of Eadie’s Kitchen for permission to use some of their photo’s to supplement our story).
