PPE Maskateers – expand to helping the local Police, Fire Service & Pharmacies

After ensuring all the local care homes had been given the face masks that they so urgently required, the PPE Maskateers found that they had a surplus of masks.  Production had grown so quickly, that over 1000 masks were produced in a short space of time.

So, the PPE Maskateers expanded their scope of operations to include our local Police Force, Fire Service, Pharmacies and also some schools.  At this point, the PPE Maskateers were getting some requests for specific colours or patterns for the masks. For example, black masks were requested for the Police.  Some Union Jack face masks were specifically made for a group of volunteer drivers & bikers that were delivering scrubs and wash bags to hospitals all over Lancashire.
