Trawden Agricultural Show – Sun 11th Aug 2019

Don’t forget the Trawden Agricultural Show this Sunday (11th Aug 2019, from 10 am)!

Tickets are Adult: £7, Children: £4, Family: £18

** Free Bus **
There will be a free bus running from Colne the show field every hour. The first bus will leave Colne railway station at 10 am and on the hour thereafter until 3.00 pm. The bus will pick up at:

  • The Municipal Hall,
  • The Duke of Lancaster,
  • Colne Bus Station,
  • Colne Cemetry,
  • Top of Cottontree Lane,
  • Gladstone Terrace
  • Rock Lane.

It will then leave the show field at 20 minutes to the hour and do the return trip back down towards the railway station. The last bus leaves the show at 3.40 pm. The bus is provided by Burrows Mini Coaches.

Whats On
The show will start at 10 am and there will be lots of livestock competitions, competitive horse events, plus a whole host of displays at the main ring (see below), vintage vehicles, lots of marquees, stalls, entertainment for all the family and, of course, food & drink! etc.  A very intensive day … you can’t really fail to have fun.

11:15 am – Suffolk Punch Heavy Horse Display 
11:30 am – Inch Perfect Trial Display 
12:00 pm – Shire Horse (Ring A) 
12:30 pm – Junior Tractor Pull And Bale Tossing (Ring B) 
13:15 pm – Junior Fun Races 
14:00 pm – Inch Perfect Trial Display
14:30 pm – Young Farmers Challenge
15:45 pm – Livestock Grand Parade 
16:15 pm – Vintage Vehicle Parade
16:45 pm – Terrier Racing
17:30 pm – Ring Closed
