Youths raise funds for three charitable causes

Prince’s Trust Youth Engagement Programme at Nelson Fire Station

A number of our local young people were hard at work washing cars on Thur 4th April 2019 between 10 am and 2.30 pm at Nelson Fire Station.  They were assisted by Nelson Fire Crews and were fundraising for three charity events that they are planning to hold next week.

Funds are being raised so that they can assist with children at the Leisure Box (climbing and an Easter Egg hunt), have tea at Pendleside hospice and enable them to donate some funds to Pendle Dogs in Need (for some much needed equipment).

They collectively make up Team #58 of the Prince’s Trust Youth Engagement Programme.
